Iskra X Bestand @ Praterbrücke
Let's go!
This summer, ISKRA and Bestand are joining forces to organise an open-air gathering on Danube Island on 31 July. The two collectives are combining their experimental, bass-driven, dancefloor-oriented sound approaches with their socio-political and solidarity-based ideas about community building to create a uniquely curated event next to the Danube.
The line-up has been co-developed with our dear friends from Spice Mixers — because why not!

Vanja Rakić
Vanja Rakić (1993, Banja Luka) is an Amsterdam-based designer, visual artist and DJ operating at the porous edges of sound, image, and printed form.
From oppressive drones to elements of dubstep, breakcore, and punk electronics; from morphing rhythms to somber lullabies—his sets often showcase a curious understanding of music history and a willingness to explore unconventional territories.
His design work carries the similar edge, with commissions to projects like Sounds of Ogigia, Osarè! Editions, 20/44, Rubber, Mutant Radio, SUBURBIA…

With regular shows on LYL and Noods Radio, Hermeneia has made appearances on Boiler Room, NTS, Edwin and Kiosk Radio, and released a mixtape on Acetone. She jumped on the mic for a guest vocal spot on the 2023 compilation ALWAYS + FOREVER from do you have peace? – joining a dreamy lineup with Zaumne, HTRK, YL Hooi and Jabu.
KHXDEEJ

Her Indian–Pakistani heritage and years of intentional front-left raving informs her ear in quiet ways, shaping how she pieces together music that feels raw, textural, and intuitively connected rather than trend-driven. Sets that embody a sense of flow, thoughtful choices, unexpected turns, and an instinct for creating spaces where dancers can lock in and explore.
Her approach has led to invitations from respected platforms across the global bass and experimental community, including NTS Radio, DeepTempo, Judder Label on Subtle Radio, FatKidOnFire on Subtle Radio, Apple Music and 140 Asia, and performances in Finland and Berlin, with more mixes and collaborations on the way.
